Hotel Rangniwas Palace Built during the reign of Maharana Sajjan Singh (1874-84), the Rang Niwas Palace was erected to serve as a platform to watch the ceremony of Sithala Asthami and the associated dance performances. In the early 20th centuary Maharana Fateh Singh (the light of the Hindus), built the palace up and added the upper floors In 1955 Maharana Bhagwat Singh gifted the Palace to his youngest brother Maharaj Arjun Singh who used it as a private residence. In 1975 he converted Rangniwas into a Palace Hotel.
